Waiting is the Hardest Part

So our 7 1/2 year old gray tabby, Riley is in the veterinary hospital. We came home to piles of vomit and a really lethargic cat. They still do not know what’s wrong with him beyond the obvious dehydration and lethargy. I am not sure what is more frustrating about this whole thing: waiting for news from VHUP, feeling like there’s nothing we can do, or that no one is sure what’s wrong with the little guy. It’s almost exactly what happened with his littermate, Huey (RIP), four years ago.  So now we wait and see…

Update: He’s back home and resting. He’s got a lot more energy than he did last night, which is awesome.
